Poetry Drawer

 
 

In an era when words and information are profuse and scattered indiscriminately across the landscape of our culture, good poetry is in danger of being drowned out by louder less thoughtful voices. There is plenty of bad poetry that sounds right at home in the clamor, but well crafted poetry can cut through the din of the pedestrian voices and pierce the fabric of the heart.
